Long before there were any years counted
Things were there to be seen
You might think the sunset not so colorful
The dirtier your air the better your sunset
Volcanoes rarely work overtime
Man, we clock in and go everyday on schedule
This time of year you witnessed the sun stop
Then you saw the sun turn around
Probably why we started counting
Imagine a plain naturally pointing there
Some geologic function defining the turning point
When you know why you see how
Imagine you were the first to ask the question
Understand we still have no answer
Always been a good time to celebrate
We live by the calendar on our wall
They lived by the one in the sky
What would you rather
Peace and joy
There are seasons here
Many more reasons here
