Moving a million miles per hour doesn't seem strange
Fluid traveling three miles an hour makes you smile more astounding
Been around longer than most
No one has an idea of people
What it is we are doing at a million miles an hour
How we stand and walk and stay mostly together
Pieces of everything is pieces of us
We search for boundaries where there are none
You have more bacterial cells you carry than human
This is what makes people possible moving a million miles per hour
Three hundred miles an hour your smile becomes important to me
I recognize some people more than others deeper in the file
That there is a reason there is no doubt
Outside and inside like parallel universes of almost no relation
We have limited means to express the unlimited inside of us
We start with our own idea of people
You are a flora
Of a particular region, habitat, and geological period
Given enough time would there have been one type of dinosaur?
There is one type of us
What we see as natural is the least natural thing about us
Why would there be more galaxies than we can count
Because there are more universes than we can count
They're made of the same things
They would recognize each other
Moving a million miles per hour doesn't seem strange
A system designed only for short term gain astounding
The story of people makes sense one way
That there are more people
The dinosaurs not making any new records
That they had enough time to think of planetary defense
They would have
We know better than we do anthropocene
They did as good as they knew mesozoic
