Art District

So I say good bye to the waterloo today
Another week we have together
Just moving out really still where I am

The world needs people to stand up
Things do not change on their own
Everyday respectable people break the law all day long

Desperate people are caught in there trap
They make them and place them and mine them
They do it in broad day light

We do not have time to stand up to them
Truth be told we have more important things to do
We are all on the same pilgrimage they just don't know it

They want to be their own judges and juries and mostly they are
We got to go to work
We got kids to take care of

Mostly we are happy
Mostly we are artistic
Standing up might not be the way

Maybe this world can't be fixed
Maybe there is a better one
It is what let's us celts fight with abandon

Well supported we are one big family
No one is in charge only taken by those who dare
Took us far but mostly we are forgotten

history is funner than History
We take great joy and no more sorrowing
We lift them up and hope they find their peace soon too

A funny theology with no answers
The second time around seems quicker
Way there longer than way back

Maybe if we could fix a district and they could: we would all
Make a better world instead of going to one
Even this planet has an expiration date but home doesn't have to

I'm still here just won't live there any more
There is hope and so much positive a quick ten months
Landlords why do we use that word

Language can close the mind
I suggest miner; is what they do mine the poor
Imagine if every poor person had a lawyer instead of every rich person

Revolutions are easy art is hard
One miner is enough in housing court at a time
Not mine to judge

They get theirs
We get ours
Everyone has their own
