Salt

There are things we all need
In certain places they find scarcity
They go everywhere and find their context

Abundance is mine certain things I never consider
Others are all I need to keep my heart pumping
Ancient is your smile as your home

Let things fall apart it is their nature
Find what is needed out of the wanted
Bring your attention to your breathe

The homeless person knows what they need
A billionaire can find no end to want
People drown only in abundance

Life is realer on the edge where bombs fall
You can see this but can't know this
You listen to echos and hear nothing

Abundance of this experience brings death not scarcity
Adds value to life that you create in your lack of want
Lack of need is what brings us to lower a bucket in our own well

There is always more till there isn't
I never had to look for salt and neither did you
Everywhere it is except where it is not; I have not been there

Blue stones they call stones so common as to depress
A false economy of want in our need
Just words you say

Just alive
Just continue in abundance and forget your scarcity
Just words I say

It is how we choose to define
This salt spilled all over the world
More valued where it is absent
