A child worker one of two types of people
I learned this a long time ago
Is twenty five years a long time
Before that I was a child
Everyone can relate to that
Not everyone can relate to children
Some people actually never do
That is the most foreign thing to me
So when I deal with you I often feel you understand
I know you don't but I like to believe or forget
It simply too strange for me to imagine
I wish I could write a poem about them for you
I tell ten thousand children a poem for one smile
If that is all there is
Usually my experience is abundance
I spend a considerable amount of my time managing thirty kids
Sometimes I'm lucky the number closer to twenty
There really is nothing I can't do
But there really is very little interesting for me
A quest to express simple things takes you far
Intention intoning invoking the spirits and the allons
Time is warped because your the only one aware of it
There is work every moment
I'm romantic in most of my views
Education an institution and there has never been a good one
Too many people involved who never deal with kids
They should be doing something else
I see two types of people those who relate to kids and those who don't
I would think only one type would be in education
Simple solutions
Make Cuyahoga county one school board
Quadrupal number of teachers
You won't need as many administrators
You could defund the superintendent while we at it
Who needs that many in the county all making six seven figures
And wonder why no one can count
