A Square

Constrained contained cajoled
There question is essentially direction
Does time have an arrow
Why would it

There doesn't seem to be much reason
The simplest thing we believe
The hardest of things to explain
Entropy the vessel

Ever increasing ever defeatable
The math can find a cold death for everything
The universe shouldn't really exist
If there were no reason there would be no matter

Dark forbidding by definition
Crooked path worn straight through
Ideas can be changed
The math can be made to work out better

Four sided seasons seen with precision
Straight lines one side to the other across even
We find what the universe seems to have little
Well far from each bit clear reasons

It takes these larger sizes to make small things
