Incontinence
Something new
Stage left and down
New and measurable
In relation
A want of continence
No self with no restraint
Limitless we let go
More can not hold
Little found behind
Washed away before
We give things price
They have value
New geometry possible
More ways to balance equations
Multiple variables complex numbers
Imaginary one our world is based upon
It was easier to approximate the bottom
Build upon this unknown
Acting out
For there is no in
To create life
Giving value we pay a price
Wantonness
Abandon
Reaching out we are in
The future finds you
She did
You not risk losing guaranteed
Knowing is not doing
What can be is
There is confirmation all around
Life a positive feedback
One so much less
Not every desire can be restrained
From nothing can be lost
Future can be past in many ways
Incontinence of season
Wanton abandon of terms
Feeling thoughts
Thinking what they mean
Incontinence of reason
Justifiable everything you feel

Shepherds
Outside of outside
No further place to go
None to return from
Not alone
She is found most often in a crowd
Earrings are her thing
From another planet
To land on her
What you would see first
So the angels hang out on the edges
Found everywhere
Yet always there
Who left in some ways
They claim there title
Who would deny them
Herds and flocks they come in
To me they look all around her
One concern one time
Some will never be clean
Others are dirty
More by defenition
What would you do as an angel?
Who would listen to you?

Tree People
There were these years I talked them down
From a life unknown to me to one too well know
Scraping and surviving
No one gave them a chance
I had this translator Harun
He was the only of his kind here in Cleveland
He spoke my language which was forgiving
He spoke their language which I made demanding
You raise your hand when they asked if you wanted to go to America
Ha
From Kakuma or was it Dadaab
The latter older I imagined worse
Former enjoyed the sound of the name
But my translator told me what I knew
They lived different there
They told each other stories
They had no more time
There are no excuses for the refugee that makes it to America
Oh they work or someone they love does very hard
There's no way around here
The system goes in circles
So that was my first day it said they were tree people
I wanted to climb up with them
Oh to be a refugee in the great Zimbabwe

Supervoid
Only three billion light years away
One point eight billion light years across
The largest thing we've probably ever seen
Nothing all together
As you enter you lose energy
As you leave you gain
It grows larger
So you are colder and what we see
Only in a universe like ours is three billion near
Quite relatively
Colder than it should be
Disappointing
How do you find the shape of nothing?
Different results are given
Each a signature
In studying nothing
A chance to learn everything
How we go together
In contrast or paradox
Stable finds different meanings
While everything is so little

Present
I know 10,000 children in another country
I know 10,000 children in this county
There are some conclusions I have drawn
Not for everybody working with kids
They will keep you present
You can learn from books
Or they will teach you
They are not completely complex
A honesty there
They have nothing better to do

Bee
Because the ends are easy
We always start at the beginning
New year after new year after new year
More than one way to count
Before we find
Each thing is another
Eager new arrive
But they might not have come
Every start requires and end
Even if we just stop
Some people die in the middle
Expectations falling
Ends required the story to adapt
The idea not sufficient
To be shared along necessary
Nothing finishes
Ends fray and lead new places
Long journeys
Invent
Advent

Before
I have this idea
Canvas will reach any distance
The ones that really count
Legally you can make the world better
Always another way around
We are the end product
You well someone must ashram up
Each of us is as fault
Really we need to all win
There are things I have never thought of
Some come along and make me smile

Entropy
Carlos described this great raven
She has many names
Will get you too
How the math works out
We can solve things not make them true
Multiply both sides by zero
A solution
With no meaning
Information has no paradox
Only their theories contain then
How they use words
Pretend to understand the world
Easily there are more galaxies we can see than grains of sand on the earth
I find this reassuring
There is plenty of them
And they contain everything else
We have local problems probably fatal ones
How many galaxies do we not see
What do you call a universe
More than we see first principle
I don't imagine empathy is a gift
You should be tuned in
You obviously don't have to be
There is a reason meeting people can feel so important
We create new universes with every possibility
I like to smile as I muse which one I'll live in
I don't seem to have control or maybe I do
Universes are large
We collect connections and become entangled
Room for all this baggage
People complain
In truth they aren't heavy
Those electrons aren't slowed or gain weight in the process
They deal
How we really don't know
A few ideas for a few dollars billion to test
The universe is hard but there is plenty
Time this now we have
A question then of ego
Really to say what that word means to you
We only imagine paradox
You can be connected and have
While you are essentially without attachment
Electrons show us the way
Elections show us decay
Entropy is how the math works out
Like a tax that can only be figured out locally
It is an edifice a poor approximation
No lack of tools but imagination
I don't see us wearing suits and ties in a better world
But the math mostly seems to say there is no hope
Another poor approximation that reassures me
I feel a poor approximation at times
Imagine that you call that aging
Not a fan of eternal life
Don't believe endothelial the end of the story
We feel a need to think outside
Because we live inside
People put others in chains
People put themselves in luxury
A dark story we have written
Why I think it is not over
Your first principles are who you are
There is more than I see
What stops me
I see many things
Not one very well explained
Everything dies seems to break
They know they are entangled not because they feel it
They are it
Everything everyday everywhere everytime
If I'm wrong I'll be gone
Nothing left
It would not be mine to explain
If I'm right
That would be
Out the Window
In an instant life can go
Out the Window everything you thought
You can see things and know things
Ones that don't have to be

More City
We get glimpses of our future
Most do not recognize them
There is time we can agree
Trends go in direction
We can reduce our footprint
And improve our outcomes
Automation was not automatic
We live as if there is no future
Mega cities their own answer
The physics is rather simple
Inputs and outputs
Understating nothing is external
The politics are simply unapproachable
Offices larger than their holder
Small people small politics
Maybe there are too many
To much of a good thing always bad
Those studies have not been reproduced
Too loud to hear
Two allowed
To the city almost all gone
I think it will continue
There is enough for everyone
Plenty just not like this we know
The city can find all she needs in her
Imagine the economy of plenty
We have enough just not what you think you want

Berlin
Three sides supported
Nothing is important
Somethings are
Or everything is
I'm from Berlin she said
Something more than German
Heading back through the next twenty four hours
I could watch that movie
Her from here to there
Skender said it did not matter
They were family and they were coming
Astrid said somethings are very important
Her mother had told her so
Leslie made everything count
Everything important in a row
I drove through Berlin in 1996
Had not planned to go here
I'm from Berlin she said
I was too
Inbetween
People go to certain places alone
They go with or to be with
She had a ring on her middle finger
Ink well dried I could see her
There is this color you sometimes always see
In the middle yet something more
The Capitol of most places clear
Primate cities
It might not matter
Could be partially relevant
Each moment its own required
Sufficient certainly everyone
She let her hair down and left air out the door
A long way she was going
Long I had been
Simple experiment of reality
Do you find anything important?
Somethings? Can you imagine everything important?
I unable to find apart
Black is a color Berlin

Entanglement
We are very poor at containing infinity
Black body radiation used to be impossible too
It went on forever and had to go somewhere
Until it was solved
On the quantum level we are United
This is that liberal bias of life
Life a historical structural ist
These questions of what to do with infinity
We have the answers
Problems are in execution
Worm holes sound small
Odd choice of words
Routine from the math
More discovered by structure
Quantum makes sense for me to enough decimals
What they call hawking radiation in truth is everywhere
Only defined by losing a virtual pair to the black hole
Pair of what? Exactly what you need
Many things come and many things go virtually speaking
It is a marvel we make any sense of this world
Perhaps this infinite even that expands the universe
Needs this energy intense infrastructure
Spooky action at a distance
Connections so complex as to require infinite information
Not a question of how
What we know about this universe is epic explosions
Why would worm holes entangle everything
They have a nature
Some infinities are
I imagine they are very heavy
As long as we do the same thing to both sides
We can change the equation
Not traditionally mathematical
Some solutions answer no questions
We should start and understand hawking radiation is painless
No explosion few jets easy enough to watch out
How does every magnitude of being have the same idea jet together
Some words can mean many things
What entangles them is no lack of energy
Scarcity is the mind killer
We are exploding

Sorted
Eire's favorite activity seems to be sorting by size
An ubiquitous idea that came from nothing
Something to do with all of this new
Life a process of doing
Living is what is messy
Decreasing entropy leaves us unbalanced
What is expensive is cheap
Trees do not come with price tags
Not an oversight a clear statement
A trees to me clearly costs the entire universe
Value is of being
Scarcity not foundational
Worth the entire universe
With the tide swimming in every direction
A trillion or more galaxies
Sorted by size
Great Lakes think alike
People are like the stars
Of every stripe and some no one can phathom
Seeing what we don't understand is near impossible
Designed to survive with struggle we seek end
Life is the problem solver not an answer
Worth more than nothing
But comprised of the same ingredients
Sorting something from nothing
I wouldn't expect it to come in different sizes
A universe mesmerized
A person sorting
Worth the entire universe
And time to

Art District
So I say good bye to the waterloo today
Another week we have together
Just moving out really still where I am
The world needs people to stand up
Things do not change on their own
Everyday respectable people break the law all day long
Desperate people are caught in there trap
They make them and place them and mine them
They do it in broad day light
We do not have time to stand up to them
Truth be told we have more important things to do
We are all on the same pilgrimage they just don't know it
They want to be their own judges and juries and mostly they are
We got to go to work
We got kids to take care of
Mostly we are happy
Mostly we are artistic
Standing up might not be the way
Maybe this world can't be fixed
Maybe there is a better one
It is what let's us celts fight with abandon
Well supported we are one big family
No one is in charge only taken by those who dare
Took us far but mostly we are forgotten
history is funner than History
We take great joy and no more sorrowing
We lift them up and hope they find their peace soon too
A funny theology with no answers
The second time around seems quicker
Way there longer than way back
Maybe if we could fix a district and they could: we would all
Make a better world instead of going to one
Even this planet has an expiration date but home doesn't have to
I'm still here just won't live there any more
There is hope and so much positive a quick ten months
Landlords why do we use that word
Language can close the mind
I suggest miner; is what they do mine the poor
Imagine if every poor person had a lawyer instead of every rich person
Revolutions are easy art is hard
One miner is enough in housing court at a time
Not mine to judge
They get theirs
We get ours
Everyone has their own

Motion
Sometimes you need to be locked out to see your on the inside
There is plenty of work and the business hours short thankfully
Mostly you could do with out them but others please another moment
Police can be really positive because they have real authority
Told me today I could break into my apartment
But also that the day still early and time to get to court, "they work till four. "
Told the building manager on the phone I decided not to break in
He said I would be charged with breaking and entering
Who you gonna call the police? They told me to
We live in a dangerous universe but we live in a great country
Battle of Stoney point our first turning point
Or so the father of our county thought so
As they say
Road long and winding leads equal part to the future as past

Erie
Strange the way life takes hold of you
Everyday this unencumbered mystery
Millions around hundreds
Questions often present themselves
Others never leave
Did I see that right? Saw this perspective
The side or opposition
I am unable to contemplate the depth of the shallowest
Great lake far and wide
Upon her shores I often find myself
Never alone not always together
At the shore the land stops and contemplates transformation
Young and old shifting or stable
There are more in between and many are the finbacks
Sought until found lacking
More a question of belief
You can chase anything you believe in
Poke the ground stop at the shore assess
Everything here for something
You somehow
The sun can kill you can not live without her
Not contradiction rather subtlety
Good and bad in every ounce created
Drops visit the land but live Erie to the ocean
Sunset and two kayaks pass
I wonder where they're going know what they do
Pools of ice and time and mystery; Erie
Not a life guard I find myself awatch

Words
What I think they mean
What you think they mean
What they think they mean
The single celled meme
Anything we do is miracle
The millions of reasons we find ourselves here
Hugh got on a boat at 15 an indentured slave
He worked his debt off in a few years
This was an American story
He was smart we know somehow not ripped off
Two years working the Philadelphia ship yards seems fair price even today
Enlisted in the Pennsylvania line from stoney point to Yorktown
No gatling no canister no repeating
Lucky to hit the side of the barn
They went with bayonets and the British saw their mettle
Bodica legends ablaze
I arrived earlier I've arrived later
The Manx farmers didn't know they needed a green grocer on five points
They saw no reason beyond their idyllic reality
They stand on the hill no more and find they are thought of still in Collinwood
They have more use than I imagined
Evoke the drift wood upon Erie
Never needed to arrive but here we are
Omnibus all those ancestors
Each as individual as the geometry allows
I could tell you explicitly what I mean
Or prose they never wonder
French Canadian emerging from the deep forest
The Celt always coming and going
Each man his own horizon

Another
Somethings lost are found another time
In the best way
Others cannot be undone
The story has an end
Parts are left behind through false walls
Void is the most of these
The World is flat in a sense
Or more the shape irrelevant
The large both ways point and wave
Say hello then goodbye
Virtual pairs hawking radiation
Biased evaporation of black holes
The middle way we find another
Our way of seeing
Blinded by many things
More we do not see
One regret need not find another
What seemed so was not
Positive
Negative
Sometimes we are neutral
Feels separate because we feel attraction
Repulsion we just leave
We lose our boundaries no border marked another
We make our own difficulties
To feel what we do not find
Seperation differentiation another way
Where you fit is no puzzle
Everywhere and anywhere
Fundamental particles of relative size
The shape not the defining property
What attracts you connects current flows
A false quantum vacuum perhaps
We tunnel through walls
Messages go away and never return
Yet traces in our neurons
Destruction is Biased
Creative is information
A well to love
A will to live
Another way of looking
Another way of feeling

Large
There is a finite number of ways things can be
The largest number in your mind can hold still adds one
Uniqueness is a matter of distance
Hard to say which part of the universe we have been found
Certainly seems to know us and we seem to matter
What other part of the universe would you be
A resturant managed from below
There are many seats of which one yours
A pleasant view in what you are sharing
Here too much there too little
Difference only this matter of distance
Long wide tall deep further than you can go
Large beyond what you can fill
More out past where we are to the top
Completed everything needed
More than what you want
Everyday you can become
They say the electrons have properties not identities
Interchangeable yet their story is never done
Except there is something else they know
All that you can endure can as well add one
The end comes in everything done
These electrons mine we see none

Wyatt
What can be accomplished in a day?
An entire world can change
I have seen it happen
Words don't come they flee and contract
Have less beauty
You don't have problems like me
Tough little guy my second cousin
What we most in my family have in common
Good to know you

Eight Cylinders
When you drive at full capacity
you know it is not something you have done
Fourteen wheels and eight cylinders
We have escape velocity
You get by with six and struggle on four
What is missing known and felt and unknown too
But not that realization driving all out of the potential
For good bad middle everything
Now as is then but older
Universe doesn't think you'll live long anyways
Twenty years or forty seconds
Some numbers are better written
Seven wheels four cylinders
We both had 8 but we did not drive sixteen
Took and take turns for each other
Seven wheels 8 cylinders we had certain responsibilities
There are so many less as you get old
To know something is not to create something
They are things we find
Learn your capacity
I will get by
There are things I know that would make life better
Yet there are more of them I remain unaware
I try to drive to capacity
Two partners pass with ease
Relative hard to know another's view
It was a good run then
More ahead then behind maybe
Something best in us
Whatever the quantity enough
Know your best
Try and be it too

We Gonna win
The last ten seconds something new
This visceral new muscle memory: we are going to win
The first time I knew
I've been a part of different "we"s, but this time it was my home
No more kardiac moments for this season
Not a curse yet a burden released
Romans 5:3-4
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

What are you doing Dave?
There are moments that contain eternity
And the eternity that takes you so long
Between zero and one we divide forever
Yet eternity plus one takes you further
Less is sometimes less
There have been enough moments to justify me
Lost control found this here now
It is easy to forget the universe is fourteen billion light years
Or what we can see there is no answer
We are made of wondrous stuff
Found almost everywhere and practically nowhere
What would iPhone components do in the next star system
Would they make art?
Just wondering through thirty days not doing something
What I am doing is not clear
For who is

Beauty of Justice
Math has a way of showing that life is predictable
Life this demonstration it is not
Justice a simple equation built on what is known
Like working at the airport yet here in front of me
Compassion was the only name I got
And I did something that I never have before
Found here marking this day
There are gentle souls involved like Tamir
How do I know? He was a child
I have never noticed her much around
And yet I find beauty there
Three worlds are we in line
She is one
Thirty cent mistake keeps me standing there
Easy enough error so I make one
I saw this something this beauty in justice of all places
Two minutes before closing I returned
She is busy helping an elder man
Another person asks what I need
I asked for something I did not need
Vending machines I linger
Compassion is usually busy
Some equations do not balance
Tho I will not need that paper Monday either

Sam
My father wasn't afraid of the end of the world
He knew a guy who would always survive
In a couple days they will finally be in the woods together again
How this world didn't end I'm not sure
It sure surprised my dad
He was perfecting an alternate skill set
Things that would not come handy in this world
Sam had been there and back
Upon broad shoulders burdens find themselves home
Highways in jungles
To a small cottage
The future an everyday affair
There was more than I knew
Would do with half the life in me at death

The Longest Hour
Time zones come in more than one size
Rightly you might wonder how
Many things are not taught
The minutes and seconds in synch
Distance illusionary
Problem: our ability to understand not the reality
Scale, size, shoal spiral relative
Two dark stars collide
The universe shaken but does not shatter
And so am I strong daily
Relatively certain hours tarry

Miners
Simple words come from deep places
69 41 36 14
Combinations
When they go on strike the revolution is secure
The root one of a few words we first understand
How we have a languages mine
We create complexity
Dig it out of the earth
Use the words in ways no one means
Mistaken and broken time again
Express what your real not for everyone
A few from billions

Useless Skills
More connection brings only difficulty
Tasks get in line take their order
Or they lose focus
Remembering your dreams include these waking parts of us
The ones which you could easily confuse
Life can be good
This poem is about other things
Ones that no one mines

When I See You
It is not questions I have for I know the words
You experience more than you explain
Fire find warm
Ice leave cold
Yours are needed
Mine what you give
It is ok to want nothing
Even when you have all

Double Images and Strange Corners
We see things in our own way and meet in these places
What I look upon I soak in and takes possession
I watch only variations upon a theme
Life crawls in corners and makes itself warm
Images and these desires for what might be
Yet contentment for what will
These should not contradict
There is something wrong in your math if they do
Mine is far off yet still can be counted upon
Do you have enough to stand
There is more lost than I have
More than needed one day on the beach
I was there no one else came the looking
There is this element and dimension and friend
Very mathematical and alive
Places I have not been there are also
In this tapestry I find me
And nothing foreign
