Revenant

You need to live long for long things to happen to you
I learned a word seldom used and  find use
My revenant of all the things going on there is you more
Back from a form of death I first thought worse

People come and go they do not return from any great abyss
Generally we progress in all ways
Hold so many things that we do not drop
Enough to find little time for those left behind

A few will not stay in the long run
We leave behind those things that will not come
Unlucky can find luck
Love does unloved

My revenant did not return from nowhere
Back from us to what is me
Certain things I carried even when I was so young
with more less burden

These tangents of so we are
Off where we go
Some make one choice and never lose
But they do not win

Others so long and wide searching
Find more each moment
Chosen by circumstance circumvent
Find victory after not winning

Each their own and you my revenant
Amputated amplitude amplified not gone but missing
Not yet here but no longer beyond
There is something I would rather do
A person I would rather do it with

There was a big enough universe I occupied
Evicted to a larger one I found less
It takes very little and was enough
There was just a bit less possible

A time I did what I wanted was us
All the ways it was good and better
Then I did less but was more
Out of this nothingness creation love chipped off

There are ways established to leave things behind
No procedure for those that return from so long
My revenant of who we could be
Of who we are

A Preacher with no School

Certain things set the world a fire
We all have skin in the game

Things fall in place others put
There is not much justice in this world

People do not hold meetings to be questioned
I do not know why they have them

You can talk too much?
That is my experience

There is not one story told
That had one side

But the same week they expelled a rule breaker
We quoted Paul extolling every dictate a Christian spirit

Those in charge enforce the rules they like
Children only want the rules they like enforced

People change history
History like a great ship hard to turn

Floating gardens of Lake texacoco
Hanging gardens of Babylon

Somethings were better
We lose answers as we find more

There is an event horizon to us
But we will be ok

Is the circular logic of creation
And why we have debate

Not fair
In the end complete

Down crooked paths made straight
All the blood washed off the street

Space Time

Uncertainty tainted in my mind
A mass distorts the shape of me
A deviation of my geometry
What we are moving through
